Dr. Michael E. Mann is a scientist, author, and Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science at Penn State. He is also director of the Penn State Earth System Science Center.
Dr. Mann's research involves the use of theoretical models and observational data to better understand Earth's climate system. He is author of more than 200 peer-reviewed and edited publications and has also published four books.
His newest book, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘞𝘢𝘳 : 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵, shows how fossil fuel companies have waged a thirty-year campaign to deflect blame and responsibility and delay action on climate change, and offers a battle plan for how we can save the planet.
